24/7 Emergency Tree Service in North-Central Connecticut

Tree on the house? Limbs on the driveway, blocking the road, or hanging over a parking lot? Call us any hour, any day. A real person answers, and our emergency crews are available around the clock.

Since 1995, Bill’s Landscaping has handled storm damage and hazardous trees for homeowners, HOAs, property managers and businesses from our base at 275 Brainard Road in Enfield. Our tree division is led by a Connecticut State Certified Arborist, and we bring the equipment to finish the job safely, from the first cut to the final cleanup.

If a tree has come down

  1. Get everyone clear. Stay away from the tree and anything it is touching.
  2. Assume any wire is live. If a tree is on or near power lines, call Eversource or your utility first. Never try to move it yourself.
  3. Call us at 860-749-0448. Tell us what came down, where it landed, and whether anyone is hurt or trapped (if so, call 911 first).
  4. Take photos if it’s safe. They help with your insurance claim.

The equipment for hard jobs

Storm work is rarely simple. Our fleet lets us reach trees that other crews can’t:

  • 92-foot CMC backyard specialty lift. It reaches tight backyards and over structures where a truck can’t go.
  • Bucket trucks for roadside and front-yard work
  • Chippers and stump grinders for complete cleanup
  • Skid steers and loaders to move logs and storm debris

Our crews take down large, hazardous trees safely, even close to homes. Every removal starts with a plan: where the tree will fall, what’s around it, and how we’ll protect your property.

Common questions

Do you really answer at night and on weekends?

Yes. Calls to 860-749-0448 are answered live 24/7, and we dispatch emergency crews after hours.

A tree is on my power line. Can you remove it?

Call your utility first. Lines must be de-energized and cleared by the utility before anyone works on the tree. Once it’s safe, we can remove the tree and clean up.

Will my homeowner’s insurance cover it?

Many policies cover removal when a tree damages a covered structure. Coverage varies, so check with your agent. We can give you photos and a written invoice for your claim.

Do you handle emergencies for HOAs and commercial properties?

Yes. We already serve condo associations, HOAs and commercial properties across Hartford County. See our Property Managers & HOAs page.
